GI Joe — Fun Movie!

ImageToday, even though I have some edits to my book I need to do, I sort of blew things off and decided to see an advanced screening of the movie GI JOE: Retaliation.

It stars Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis and Channing Tatum. It is a series of implausible events and cool fight scenes (an especially awesome — yet logic defying — ninja battle on a cliff side). And I absolutely loved it. It was total escapism and just what I needed. Now, if you don’t like shoot em up and have no interest in suspending disbelief, not the movie for you. If you do, check it out. I, for one, had a blast.

Now, back to the grind.
