Third Life Giveaway Done – Winners Galore!

This is my daughter's purse that I made. We were looking for a Hello Kitty applique to put on the front, but when we didn't find it, she asked for the American flag, an E and two stars. She's more patriotic than I knew. :)

This is the purse I made for my daughter. We were looking for a Hello Kitty applique to put on the front, but when we didn’t find it, she asked for the American flag, an E and two stars. She’s more patriotic than I knew. (The faint white line is chalk from when we were chalking the pattern; I need to wipe it off; I didn’t think it would show in the picture, but it did)

Happy Labor Day to you! I hope you’re not laboring too hard on this American holiday (er, let’s hope you’re not laboring at all).

I have been trying to avoid laboring all weekend, but to no avail. I had promised my daughter I’d make her a purse, so I had to do that. I also had to finish up my Indies Unlimited Post for next month, or no gruel for me. 🙁

As to the Third Life giveaway that ended Friday at midnight,  Rafflecopter sent me a lovely email telling me it was done and time to pick winners. Randomness provided us with L. Rita & Jessica as the official winners. Woo hoo! Hearty congrats to them. They can pick a hard copy advanced review copy or an ebook.

However, because there weren’t thousands (or even hundreds) of entrants, I decided to make everyone a winner. So, all the non-official winners will get an electronic ARC, if they’d like one.  Seems like a good way to celebrate Labor Day, no?  (I emailed everyone Sunday night, so you should have an email from me if you entered. If the Internet ate my email — which it does from time to time — just send me a message via the Contact Page, and I’ll get you squared away with an ARC.)

Anyway, that’s all I got for now. Hope you had a great weekend. Enjoy your day off, if you have one. If you’re one of the folks working while everyone else is off, I hope you’re getting paid tons and that you super enjoy your next scheduled vacation day.

Signing off!
