Wishing for the Grilled Cheese Option

Grilled Cheese (photo from wikicommons)

I stumbled across an article that mentioned today (April 12) was National Grilled Cheese day. I told my husband to run for the hills, as he and his twin brother have an aversion to cheese. And when they were children, their mother used to make herself a grilled cheese if she wanted them out of the house for a bit.

Today, I sort of wish I had the grilled cheese option–some go to thing I could do to get everyone out of the house so I could have some peace and quiet. I’m not saying I would use it often. Generally, I like my family. But, knowing I had a surefire way to guarantee an hour of peace and quiet, would be awesome.

Hope you all have a good weekend. And enjoy a grilled cheese sandwich for me (as clearly, I won’t be having one with hubby around).
