Book Deals and Clinical Trials

It’s my kids’ last weekday of spring break, so we’re headed down to the National Mall to check out the Cherry Blossoms before the rain sets in today.  But, before we head down, I just wanted to alert you to a couple of thing.

Second Life is being featured on 99 Cent Book Blast. The book is just 99 cents through the weekend. Life First, also happens to be on sale for 99 cents.  So, if you haven’t gotten either one, now’s a great time to grab them both. Third Life: Taken, however, is not on sale (it was listed in error on the 99 cent book site, and hopefully that’s fixed now). There are lots of cool books in the book blast, so definitely check it out.

As to the clinical trials in the headline, I wrote a brief piece on the lack of minorities in clinical trials over for the  Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies blog.
