The end is Near!

Readers' Choice AwardJust one last reminder that voting is almost over for the Big Al’s Books and Pals Readers’ Choice awards. Life First is up for an award in the Speculative Fiction category. If you haven’t had a chance to get over there yet, please stop by and vote.

To vote, go down to the Rafflecopter Box, then log in (either by providing an email address or with Facebook). After logging in, you’ll see boxes for 13 categories for fiction voting. Life First is under Speculative Fiction.  There are great authors in the other categories as well, including: K.S. Brooks, J.D. Mader, Stephen Hise, Lynn Cantwell, D.V. Berkom, Laurie Boris, and Melinda Clayton. Voting ends tomorrow. Everyone who votes is automatically entered to win an $50 Amazon.com gift card.

In honor of the end being near, I thought I’d link to one of my favorite Beatles songs, the End. A fabulous song, if just for the band members’ solo performances. I like Abbey Road (the album on which the End appears), but it took a few of the songs a while to grow on me. If you’re wondering, my favorite Beatles album is Rubber Soul (no growth time; instant love; especially adore Norwegian Wood and the Word). Yeah, I like the soul.  As they say, “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.”
