Technically, I wrote a blog post, today

 

Today I’m supposed to write a blog post
Unfortunately, I’m going to be a bad host

I thought posting twice a week would be easy,
But, not this week, so I’m doing something sleazy.

I’m technically posting some words,
but what I’m saying doesn’t need to be heard.

I’m way behind on Second Life’s final edit,
Probably because I wasted too much time on Reddit.*

Know that I’m super busy today;
As a result, I have no time to play.

I apologize for wasting your time.
At least you got some words that rhyme.

I’m a horrible poet;
Now, we all know it.

Have a great weekend; I’ll post again soon.
And remember, I’ll never shoot you with a harpoon.

 

* – full disclosure here: I’ve never used Reddit, but when you’re trying to rhyme with edit, your options are fairly limited.
